Focus and Scope

JSTMB is published twice annually and provide scientific publication medium for researchers, engineers, practitioners, academicians, and observers in the field related to disaster mitigation. This journal accepts original papers, review articles, case studies, and short communications. The articles published are peer-reviewed by no less than two referees, and cover various disaster subjects related to the field of geology, structure engineer, marine science, technology information, environment, as well as life sciences in general.

Peer Review Process

JSTMB reviewing policies are:

  • Every submitted paper will be reviewed by no less than two peer-reviewers.
  • The submitted paper will be blind-reviewed.
  • Reviewing process will consider originality, novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.




Publication Frequency

JSTMB is an online scienctific publication which is publish online twice annually in June and December of the year


Open Access Policy

JSTMB provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



Articles submitted to JSTMB will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, archiving, any other technical requirements, and associated management costs, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articl



Before publication all articles submitted to JSTMB are verified their originality by screening for plagiarism using plagium™   and plagiarism checker  provided by small seo tools.
