PENERAPAN METODE PENELUSURAN BANJIR (FLOOD ROUTING) UNTUK PROGRAM PENGENDALIAN DAN SISTEM PERINGATAN DINI BANJIR KASUS : SUNGAI CILIWUNG

Abstract


Banjir merupakan suatu peristiwa hidrologi yang kadang sulit diprediksi kejadiannya
dan sering mendatangkan kerugian. Metode penelusuran banjir (metode muskingum) telah banyak digunakan oleh ahli-ahli hidrologi untuk melakukan pengendalian banjir. Tulisan ini merupakan kajian penerapan metode penelusuran banjir di Sungai Ciliwung pada ruas Depok hingga Manggarai. Hasil perhitungan nilai-nilai konstanta dan koefisien sebagai berikut : x = -0.002; K = 6 jam; C0 = 0.1443; C1 = 0.1409 dan C3 = 0.7147. Nilai K = 6 jam berarti bahwa waktu perjalanan puncak gelombang banjir dari Depok menuju Manggarai adalah sekitar 6 jam

Flood is the hydrological event and the event occurrence was very difficult to predict
and usually detriment. Flood routing (Muskingum method) has been applying for the effort of flood control. This paper described the study of application of flood routing using Muskingum method in Ciliwung River at Depok through Manggarai section. Calculated result of constantan and coefficients value were: x =-0.002; K = 6 hours; C0 = 0.1443; C1 = 0.1409 and C3 = 0.7147. The K value equal 6 hours indicated that travel time of the center mass of flood wave from Depok to Manggarai is 6 hours.
