Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Mitigasi Bencana (JSTMB) is the first journal in the field of disaster published in Indonesia. JSTMB first published in June 2006 and then published periodically twice a year in June and December.
The focus of this journal covers various aspects of disaster science and technology, including natural disasters and anthropogenic disasters or a combination of both in the so called of socionatural disasters. Topics also include aspects anddiscussion on hazards, vulnerability, social, economic, environmental, disaster risk, mitigation, adaptation, disaster risk, emergency response, disaster damage, disaster impacts, disaster early warning systems, the latest technology in disasters and other related aspects.
This journal is published by the Centerof Technologyfor Disaster Risk Reduction, Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Indonesia. Authors are invited to submit articles electronically through this journal's website. All incoming articles will be reviewed by competent reviewers before being eligible for publication.
