penyemaian pada awan yang ada karena analisis rawinsonde dilapangan menyatakan
kondisi favorable. Analisis ulang menggunakan indeks U-3 yang telah diuji kehandalannya mendapatkan bahwa lingkungan udara hari itu tidak favorable karena
nilai U-3 yang besar, yaitu 277. Citra awan GMS-5 kanal IR memperkuat analisis ini.
Dengan demikian penyemain yang dilakukan hari itu merupakan kesalahan dan set untuk hari itu harus dikeluarkandari â€œset data semaiâ€. Secara keseluruhan set data semai
menjadi 2 -data, sedangkan set data tidak semai 3 -data, ukuran sampel ini tidak dapat
dianalisis dengan statistik WMW, sehingga efek penyemain tidak bisa disimpulkan.
Seeding mission on December 18, 1999 can not found the suitable cloud as criteria
defined on experiment design, but due to favorable condition declared by analysis
sounding the existing cloud have been seed. Reanalysis using U-3 indices indicates that
no potential for cloud development due to great value of U-3, ie 277; this result supported by GMS-5 image. There was occur erroneous analysis to declare favorable condition and data set for that day must be rejected from seed data set. After rejected total data set consist only 2 - data seeding and 3 -data unseeding and not suitable for WMW statistical test and seeding effect is inconclussive.
