Abstract
macam komposisi berbeda menggunakan kaskad impaktor. Flare dengan karakteristik
diameter dominan (21.48 %) 15.7 mikron dan coefisien higroskopik tinggi dipilih dan
dibuat sebanyak 220 batang untuk eksperimen cloud base seeding di Soroako pada
bulan Mei 2000. Koefisien higroskopisitas dan diameter dominan sekitar 15 mikron
digunakan sebagai dasar pemilihannya.
Laboratory analysis was carried out to analyze size and hygroscopicity particle produced
by smoke burning of hygroscopic pyrotechnics flare using cascade impactor of 14
different compositions. Flare that has dominant size particles of about 15.7 micron in
diameter (21.48 %) and coefficient hygroscopicity of 0.96 was selected for field experiment. 220 flares were assembled to be used at field cloud base seeding
experiment in Soroako in May 2000.
