Strategi Perencanaan dan Rekayasa Lingkungan untuk Mewujudkan Ekosistem Mangrove Berkelanjutan Studi Kasus Kawasan Science Techno Park Penajam

Abstract
Perubahan paradigma pembangunan Indonesia telah mendorong pengembangan sektor maritim. Di sisi lain perlindungan ekosistem mangrove dari ancaman pembangunan infrastruktur pesisir juga menjadi isu penting, salah satunya di Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari
alternatif dan strategi pengembangan kawasan yang berwawasan lingkungan di kawasan NSTP. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberadaan National Science Techno Park (NSTP) dapat menyebabkan perubahan ekosistem mangrove. Hutan mangrove yang ada adalah mangrove primer di perairan tenang, dengan kerapatan tinggi. Desain pengembangan kawasan NSTP perlu memperhatikan
sirkulasi air untuk ekosistem mangrove. Rekayasa lingkungan diarahkan pada pembangunan kanal dengan lebar 10 m, kedalaman 6 m sepanjang 500 m dan 250 m. Konservasi spasial diarahkan pada ketentuan kawasan terbangun tidak melebihi 30%.
